Barcelona beat Real Oviedo 3–0 as Dro Fernández nears PSG move

FC Barcelona claimed a confident 3–0 win over Real Oviedo on January 25 at Spotify Camp Nou in La Liga, moving back to the top of the table. Second-half goals from Dani Olmo, Raphinha and Lamine Yamal decided the match after a tight opening period.

Barça dominated possession and broke through shortly after the break, with Olmo opening the scoring before Raphinha doubled the lead. Teenager Yamal sealed the result late on, underlining his growing influence. “We were patient and kept our intensity,” head coach Hansi Flick said after the match.

Raphinha praised the team’s maturity, noting that “once the first goal came, we controlled the game.” Oviedo coach Luis Carrión admitted his side “struggled to cope with Barcelona’s pace in the second half.”

Away from the pitch, Barcelona are set to lose young midfielder Dro Fernández, who is close to completing a move to Paris Saint-Germain in search of regular first-team football.
