Ben White Ruled Out of Champions League Final With Knee Injury

Arsenal have a problem at right-back. And it has arrived at the worst possible moment.

Ben White went off in the 28th minute of Sunday’s 1-0 win over West Ham with a medial knee ligament injury. Arsenal confirmed he is out for the rest of the season — which means he misses the Champions League final against PSG in Budapest on May 30.

Jurrien Timber is also sidelined. The Dutchman has been out since mid-March with an ankle issue. Arsenal go into the biggest match in their recent history without a specialist senior right-back available.

Arteta got the three points at the London Stadium. The double is still on. But the injury list keeps growing at exactly the wrong time.
