Billam-Smith Signs With Zuffa Boxing to Prove He Is Best in the World

Chris Billam-Smith is not done making his case. The former WBO cruiserweight champion has signed a multi-fight deal with Zuffa Boxing, with all his fights set to air live on Sky Sports in the UK and Ireland.

“This move is about proving I am the best in the world,” Billam-Smith said. “I can’t wait to get back in the ring, headlining shows, live on Sky.”

The 35-year-old holds a 21-2 record with 13 knockouts. He won his world title in 2023 by beating Lawrence Okolie in Bournemouth, later avenged a loss to Richard Riakporhe, and most recently beat Brandon Glanton — himself a Zuffa fighter — at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

He lost the WBO belt to Gilberto Ramirez and is now chasing it back. His promotional debut date will be announced in the coming weeks.
