Fatu Slams Reigns Through Table at Contract Signing on Raw

They put pen to paper. Then Jacob Fatu put Roman Reigns through a table.

Monday Night Raw from Omaha was always heading here. World Heavyweight Champion Reigns and his challenger Fatu met face to face for the contract signing ahead of their title match at Backlash — five days out. The tension held for about as long as you’d expect.

Reigns went for a Superman Punch. Fatu caught him mid-air with the Tongan Death Grip, lifted him, and drove him through the table in the middle of the ring. Then he picked up the pen, signed the contract, and stood over the wreckage.

The Bloodline family feud has been building for months. Fatu turned, then clawed his way to the top of the card. Sunday he gets his shot at the gold.

Reigns left on a stretcher. Fatu left standing tall. Backlash can’t come fast enough.
