LeBron Sets Another NBA First With 3000 Playoff Field Goals at 41

Every time LeBron James steps on a playoff court, a record falls somewhere.
The latest: he became the first player in NBA history to make 3,000 career playoff field goals during the Lakers’ run against Houston. He also crossed 300 postseason games — another first. He’s the only player in history with 50,000 combined regular season and playoff points, currently sitting at 51,729.
He’s 41 years old. He leads all scorers in both the regular season and the playoffs, all-time.
The Lakers beat Houston in six. Now they face Oklahoma City — 64 wins, swept Phoenix, a completely different challenge. Luka Dončić is still out with his hamstring. LeBron admitted he never thought he’d be leading a playoff series at 41.
“I never thought I’d be here doing this,” he said.
He’s here. He’s doing it. And the records just keep coming.
