Reigning champion Luke Littler returns to Alexandra Palace on Saturday, December 27, to face Mensur Suljovic in the World Darts Championship third round, booked as the night session finale at roughly 9:40pm GMT.
Littler has looked ruthless so far, not dropping a set in 3-0 wins over Darius Labanauskas and David Davies. “I was getting away with it… he missed 16 darts at double,” Littler admitted after the Davies match.
Suljovic arrives with plenty of noise around his pace of play. “I never ever play slow. I do it only for my game,” he insisted after edging Joe Cullen. Littler is braced for the tempo battle: “If he tries anything to… slow me down, then obviously I’ve got to be ready for it.”
