Rosenior Calls Caicedo Best in World as Chelsea Eye Man City Win

Liam Rosenior has backed Moises Caicedo as one of the best defensive midfielders in world football — and wants a perfect week from his entire squad as Chelsea prepare to host Manchester City on Sunday.
“The gaffer has said it needs to be a perfect week; everyone needs to be on it,” Cole Palmer revealed, summarising the manager’s message to the dressing room.
Chelsea need it badly. They sit sixth with seven games left, one point behind fifth-placed Liverpool, and fifth place is enough for Champions League football. Defeat on Sunday and the top five race gets complicated fast.
Palmer acknowledged confidence dipped after four consecutive losses but said the mood has shifted since the 7-0 FA Cup thrashing of Port Vale. “We’re looking forward to it,” he said. “It should be a good one.”
