Sinner, Alcaraz book places in Australian Open final

World number one Sinner overcame Novak Djokovic in four sets, using relentless baseline pressure and sharp serving to end the Serb’s title defence. “I had to stay aggressive and trust my game,” Sinner said, calling the win “one of the biggest of my career.” Djokovic admitted Sinner “deserved it today.”
Earlier, Alcaraz outlasted Daniil Medvedev in a high-intensity battle, mixing power with touch to control key moments. “I found solutions when it mattered,” Alcaraz said, while Medvedev noted that “small margins decided everything.”
