Westbrook Steps Up for TV Debut Against Bailey on AEW Collision

Independent wrestler BK Westbrook made his All Elite Wrestling television debut on AEW Collision in May, stepping into the ring against “Speedball” Mike Bailey. The North Carolina native competed under the name Westbrook and lasted just over a minute against Bailey, one of the promotion’s prominent performers.

Speaking to Fox News Digital, Westbrook described the appearance as a meaningful step in his career. He noted that prior to the booking he had done background work for AEW without competing on air, making the Collision match his first opportunity to actually wrestle on the program. Westbrook also pointed to a pre-existing familiarity with Bailey through shared bookings on the independent circuit, including appearances for Deadlock Pro Wrestling, which eased his footing in the AEW environment.

Westbrook has been active across several independent promotions since the end of 2025, including Game Changer Wrestling, Pandemonium Pro Wrestling, Deadlock Pro Wrestling, and TBD Wrestling. Television bookings remain rare for wrestlers operating primarily on the independent scene, where building a profile depends heavily on accumulated work across multiple smaller promotions rather than a single high-visibility platform.

His next scheduled appearance is at Pandemonium Pro’s JoJo event in August, where he is set to face Epidemiyus Jr. The card is being staged as a benefit show for the family of Jordan Saint, a wrestler who died in a car crash.
