Xabi Alonso has officially left his position as Real Madrid head coach, the club announced on Monday, following internal discussions over the team’s future. The decision comes at a crucial stage of the season, with Madrid still competing on multiple fronts.
Alonso’s departure ends a brief but intense spell at the Santiago Bernabéu, where results were solid but expectations remained sky-high. “Coaching Real Madrid is something special,” Alonso said. “I gave everything, but timing matters in football.”
